Combining (importing) user rights

In Axxon PSIM, you can combine several user rights if you create the new User rights object. In contrast to the copying and pasting object function (Ctrl+C - Ctrl+V), when all parameters of user rights are simply copied, the combining function allows selecting several user rights that are combined in the configured object.

The user rights are combined in the following way:

1. The rights of the selected template rights are added, that is, if an action is prohibited in one of the rights but is permitted in the other, the action is allowed in the new rights as a result of their combination.
2. The rights for the administration, control, and monitoring are set with the maximum rights among the specified ones in the combined rights.
3. The archive depth uses the maximum value in hours among the selected template rights.

To combine user rights when you create new rights, do the following:

1. Go to the settings panel of the User rights object.
   
2. Click the Import rights button.
3. The Rights import window opens.
   
4. Set the checkboxes next to the User rights objects, the rights of which you want to combine (1).
5. Click the OK button (2). The settings panel displays the results of the rights combination.
6. Click the Apply button to save the changes.

Combining user rights is complete.
