Parameters of displaying the Event viewer interface window

To configure the display of the Event viewer interface window, do the following:

1. Go to the Main tab (1) on the settings panel of the Event viewer object.
   
2. Set the location of the Event viewer window:
   1. Enter the coordinates of the Event viewer window:
      1. X (2)—horizontal indent from the left border of the screen;
      2. Y (4)—vertical indent from the top border of the screen;
      3. W (3)—width of the window;
      4. H (5)—height of the window.
         

         Note

         Coordinates are set as a percentage of the corresponding screen dimensions horizontally and vertically, respectively.

   2. Click the button (6). This opens a window for setting the size and location of the Event viewer window using the mouse.
3. From the Monitor drop-down list (7), select the number of the monitor for which you set the coordinates.
4. By default, the position of the Event viewer interface window is fixed. To allow the operator to move the Event viewer window with the left mouse button, set the Allow moving checkbox (8).
5. If it is necessary for the Event viewer window to be displayed on top of all windows, set the Over all windows checkbox (9).
6. Set the background color of the Event viewer window (10).
7. Set the text color in the Event viewer window (11).

8. Set the color of alarm messages in the Event viewer interface window (12):

   1. For this, double-click the Color of alarm messages field;

   2. In the Color window that opens, select the required color;

   3. Click the OK button.

      Note

      To apply the setting, the value of the Duration of blinking, s parameter (14) must be different from 0.

9. Specify the color of info messages in the Event viewer interface window (13):

   1. For this, double-click the Color of info messages field;

   2. In the Color window that opens, select the required color;

   3. Click the OK button.

      Note

      To apply the setting, the value of the Duration of blinking, s parameter (14) must be different from 0.

10. In the Duration of blinking, s field (14), enter the duration of blinking for alarm messages in seconds in the Event viewer interface window.
    

    Note

    The blinking frequency is 2 seconds, and the blinking duration is 1 second. To ensure the blinking, we recommend setting the parameter value to at least 2.

11. Set the font of messages displayed in the Event viewer interface window:
    1. Click the Font:<current font> button (15);
    2. In the Font window that opens, set the font parameters;
    3. Click the OK button.
12. By default, when an alarm message has finished blinking, it is no longer highlighted by the alarm message color in the Event viewer window. It becomes highlighted by the color specified in the filter (see Configuring event filters for displaying in the Event viewer).
13. To continue highlighting the message by the alarm message color after the blinking stops, set the Keep colored after blinking checkbox (16).
14. You can set the order of columns (17) that are displayed in the Event viewer window in two ways:
    1. Select the name of a column and move it with the mouse holding down the left button;
    2. Select the name of a column and move it with the left and right buttons.
       

       Note

       If you set the Hide Region and/or Hide Card checkboxes, the corresponding columns aren't displayed in the Event viewer window.

15. Click the Apply button to save the changes.
