For remote update of Axxon PSIM to a newer version:

  1. Install the new version as described in Remote installation of Axxon PSIM.
  2. In the command, make sure to specify the path to Product.msi for a new version.

In this case the old version is automatically removed with the configuration saved, and the newer version is installed.
