Telemetry control panel is an interface object used for PTZ device control. The interface of the telemetry control panel is the same for all used PTZ device types.

To create and configure the telemetry control panel, do the following:

  1. Go to the Interfaces tab in the System settings window (1).
  2. Create the Telemetry control panel object on the basis of the Display object or select the corresponding object in the objects tree on the Interfaces tab of the System settings window (2).
  3. When you create the Telemetry control panel object (3), specify the ID, the name of the object, and select the Display object based on which the Telemetry control panel object is created.
  4. Specify the coordinates of the telemetry control panel position on the screen. To do this, change the values in the X and fields (4). The X and Y values correspond to the coordinates of the upper left corner of the telemetry control panel on the screen and are expressed as percentages relative to the screen size horizontally and vertically.
  5. Specify the dimensions of the Telemetry control panel object: the W (window width) and H (window height) fields (5). Dimensions are expressed as percentages relative to the screen size horizontally and vertically.

    Note

The  button (6) is used for automatic input of the current object coordinates specified by the user when using the telemetry control panel.

  6. By default, you can drag the telemetry control panel over the screen. In this case, if you want to fix the telemetry control panel position, clear the Allow window moving checkbox (7).

  7. By default, the telemetry control panel is opaque. To display interface objects located in the same screen area as the telemetry control panel, set the Half-transparent window checkbox (8).

  8. If you want to change the PTZ control priority using the telemetry control panel, select the required item from the Priority list (9).

  9. By default, the operator is allowed to save the presets of the PTZ device, that is, the presets of the camera position. When you use the telemetry control panel, you can save presets using the digital buttons of the Presets panel. To forbid the operator from saving the presets of the PTZ device, clear the Allow presets checkbox (10).

  10. Set the Allow hotkeys checkbox (11) if you want to control the PTZ device using the keyboard.

  11. Move the names of cameras equipped with PTZ devices to the Selected cameras list to control them by this Telemetry control panel object. To do this, you must move the selected cameras one by one in the Selected cameras list by clicking the one-arrow button or move all cameras equipped with the PTZ device by clicking the two-arrow button (12).

  12. If necessary, move the camera names from the Selected cameras list to the Available cameras with telemetry control list to forbid the control over the specified cameras using this Telemetry control panel object. To do this, you must move the selected cameras one by one in the Available cameras with telemetry control list by clicking the one-arrow button or move all cameras to this list by clicking the two-arrow button (13).

  13. To save the changes, click the Apply button (14).

Configuring the telemetry control panel is complete.
