If a camera has an embedded storage, the system automatically creates the corresponding object.
To configure an embedded storage, do the following:
| Parameter | Value | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Send settings to device | By default, the checkbox is set. This option allows you to send the settings from Axxon One to the web interface of the camera so that the camera adapts its internal parameters to these settings. To disable the option, clear the checkbox | |
| Enable | Yes | By default, the embedded storage is disabled. To enable it, select Yes |
| No | ||
| Name | Embedded storage | Enter the object name |
| Cache depth | 0 | Specifies the period (in days) during which the information on recordings is preloaded into RAM to speed up the operation. The background caching speeds up the display and processing of the archive data. The recommended value depends on the intensity of operation with the archive. With the 0 value (default), caching is disabled. The value must be in the range [0, 365] |
| Cache update period | 0 | Enter the cache update period in seconds. The value must be in the range [0, 86400] |
Configuration of an embedded storage is complete. If an embedded storage is enabled in the system, the data from it are available for viewing (see Selecting an archive) and replication to the system archive (see Configuring data replication).
