Additional information on camera

Additional information on the camera is:

1. Displayed on the video surveillance monitor over the camera name (disabled by default to reduce GPU load, see Setting the parameters of the Monitor interface window).
2. Added to the name of the export file from the interface monitor (AVI, BMP/JPEG) and for frame printing.
3. Displayed in the Event Viewer window in the Additional info column.

To set additional information about the camera, do the following:

1. Go to the Hardware tab in the System settings window.
   
2. In the object tree on the Hardware tab, select the Camera object corresponding to the adjusted camera.
3. Go to the Advanced settings tab on the settings panel of the Camera object.

4. In the Additional info field, specify the line of at least 100 characters.

   Note

   The color of additional information displayed on the surveillance monitor changes according to the state of the Camera. For example, if the Camera is recording, the text is red; otherwise, it is white. You can set an unchanging arbitrary color using the MonitorExtraTextColor parameter of the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\AxxonSoft\PSIM\Video registry key (for details, see Registry keys reference guide).

5. To save the changes in Axxon PSIM, click the Apply button.
