Activate one of the following software modules for license plate recognition:

  1. Remote recognition
  2. AUTO-Uragan module
  3. Vehicle type recognition module
  4. RR vendor and model recognizer
  5. AR-Railway module
  6. BRS module
  7. AR-Auto module
  8. AR-Video module
  9. CIDR IV module
  10. IV module
  11. RIDR IV module
  12. RR module (fast or slow)
  13. VT module.
  14. Taiwan module
  15. ARENA module

To activate the software module, create the same-name object on the basis of the LPR channel object.

Note

After you create the recognition module object, other than BRS module, Taiwan module, or Remote recognition, you must configure it.

Attention!

  • After you create or configure the license plate recognition modules, you must go to the settings panel of the LPR channel object and click the Apply button.
  • Not all settings apply to all modules. If any settings are specific to specific modules, it is indicated on the corresponding pages.
  • You can enable license plate filtering during recognition for all software modules using the parameter of the key AllowedPlatePrefixes = prefixes specified separated by a comma, such as FXE,FSRR,HLMX,IFRX,ATRX,NDM,NDEM in the registry section \HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\AxxonSoft\PSIM\URMLPR\AllowedPlatePrefixes. In this case, only the license plates with the prefixes specified in the registry key are recognized and saved at the standard path. Other license plates aren't recognized and are saved to the folder C:\Users\User_Name\Documents\Axxon PSIM\LPR_Filterd. By default, the key is blank, and all license plates are recognized.
