The Web-server 2.0 module is used for video surveillance on the side of a mobile client application. Detailed information on such applications can be found in the corresponding documents (see AxxonSoft mobile Clients. Documentation).

Web-server 2.0 has the following functions:

  1. sends the video and audio coming from the camera to the mobile client;
  2. sends the video and audio coming from the archive to the mobile client;
  3. notifies the user about the alarms;
  4. runs macros;
  5. sends alarms to the mobile client and processes them;
  6. controls PTZ cameras;
  7. works with maps;
  8. sends push notifications to the client.

Also, Web-server 2.0 is required to use the Intellect HTTP API.

The Web-server object should be created and configured for the correct operation of the Web-server 2.0 module (see Configuring the videoserver to connect Clients via the Web-server module).
