The Web-server 2.0 module is used for video surveillance on the side of a mobile client application. Detailed information on such applications can be found in the corresponding documents (see AxxonSoft mobile Clients. Documentation).
Web-server 2.0 has the following functions:
- sends the video and audio coming from the camera to the mobile client;
- sends the video and audio coming from the archive to the mobile client;
- notifies the user about the alarms;
- runs macros;
- sends alarms to the mobile client and processes them;
- controls PTZ cameras;
- works with maps;
- sends push notifications to the client.
Also, Web-server 2.0 is required to use the Intellect HTTP API.
The Web-server object should be created and configured for the correct operation of the Web-server 2.0 module (see Configuring the videoserver to connect Clients via the Web-server module).
