W Axxon Next dostępne są dwie metody na akcelerację sprzętową dekodowania wideo:

  1. Poprzez Intel Quick Sync Video (zobacz: Hardware-based decoding with Intel Quick Sync Video).
  2. Poprzez chip NVDEC kart graficznych NVIDIA (zobacz: Hardware-based decoding with NVIDIA NVDEC chips).

Dostępne jest także dekodowanie jednocześnie za pomocą Intel QSV oraz NVDEC (zobacz: Parallel decoding with both Intel's Quick Sync Video and NVIDIA's NVDEC).
