Requirements for video parameters to perform the forensic search in the archive

Video parameters are to be met the same requirements as while detection working when the forensic search in the archive is used (see the Requirements to video parameters while working with detection tools and Tracker section).

Also, there is dependence between minimal and maximal available speed of objects motion on the video image from the camera frames:

1. Maximal speed depends on the object size. Dependence of maximally available speed from the frame frequency for typical objects – person and car is given in the table:

   6 fps	5 km/h	40 km/h
   12 fps	10 km/h	85 km/h
   25 fps	20 km/h	170 km/h

   
   So, for example, if it is required to recognize people moving with speed till 10 km/h, the frequency 12 fps is enough.

2. The minimal speed of object motion is to be such as the displacement of object image will be less than 1 pixel per frame.
