In Axxon One, data is recorded to an archive in a loop. Old archive videos can be replaced with newer videos.

You can protect selected videos from being overwritten. A macro copies protected recordings to another archive.

To protect videos, do the following:

  1. Configure on-demand replication (see Configuring data replication).
  2. Configure a macro (see Configuring a macro to automatically copy protected videos).
  3. Configure protection for the required videos (see Configuring video protection).

You can further edit protected recordings in the Web-Client (see Working with bookmarks in the Web-Client).
