You can control a PTZ device with a joystick.

Below you can see examples of controlling a PTZ device with the Shuttle PRO-2 joystick.

Note

The specific configuration of the joystick control functions is specified when setting up the program and can differ from the description given in the example.

The position of the Shuttle PRO-2 joystick controls is shown in the figure.

 

Example of the configuration of the joystick control elements for controlling a PTZ device is shown below.

  1. Movement of the camera lens from right to left:
  2. Movement of the camera lens up and down:
  3. Stop the movement of the camera lens:
  4. Automatically change the orientation of the camera lens to the area where the middle mouse button was clicked:
  5. Increase the lens zoom (zoom in on the image):
  6. Decrease the lens zoom (zoom out on the image):
  7. Increase the focal length:
  8. Reduce the focal length:
     

Note

The above joystick actions are not supported in the surveillance windows corresponding to the cameras without PTZ.
