Attention!

The PS-RTP Server object was excluded from Intellect since the version 4.11.3.

The PS-RTP Server enables the following functions in Intellect:

  1. From the third-party software, control the cameras, PTZ, relays and sensors configured in Intellect using the GB28181 protocol.
  2. Watch live and archived video in the third-party software.
  3. Depending on the user rights, limit access to the functions listed above.

Intellect acts as a subserver in the server hierarchy. If Intellect should act as a supserver, configure Connecting cameras via the GB/T28181 protocol.

Configure the PS-RTP Server as follows:

  1. Create the PS-RTP Server object on the basis of the Computer object in the Hardware tab of the System settings dialog box.
  2. The settings panel of the object is displayed in the Main tab (1) on the right of the System settings dialog box. Here the parameters of the PS-RTP Server as a subserver are set.
  3. From the IP drop-down list (2) select the address of the network interface via which the third-party software will access the PS-RTP Server using the GB28181 protocol.
  4. In the Port field (3) specify the number of the port to which the third-party software will be connected using the GB28181 protocol.
  5. From the Transport drop-down list (4) select a data transfer protocol: UDP or TCP.
  6. In the Server ID field (5) the ID of Intellect server is displayed. It is used by the third-party software to connect to the RS-RTP Server via the GB28181 protocol.
  7. In the from (6) and to (7) fields set the range of the RTP ports used by the module.
  8. Specify the list of objects the access to which should be guaranteed by the RS-RTP Server as follows:
    1. Go to the List of devices tab (1).
    2. From the Type drop-down list (2) select the type of object created in Intellect objects tree.
    3. From the Name drop-down list (3) select the name of the required object.
    4. In the Device ID field (4) the device ID is displayed. It will be used by the third-party software to control objects via the GB28181 protocol.
    5. Repeat steps b-d for all required devices.
  9. Set the parameters to connect Intellect to the external supserver:
    1. Go to the Connection to external server tab (1).
    2. Set the Connect to external server checkbox (2). As a result, the external server connection parameters are available for editing.
    3. In the IP field (3) specify the external server IP address.
    4. In the Port field (4) specify the external server connection port.
    5. In the Transport field (5) select the transport protocol used for the external server connection.
    6. In the Password field (6) specify the password for external server connection.
    7. In the Login field (7) specify the username for the external server connection.
    8. In the Server ID field (8) specify the ID of the external server via the GB28181 protocol.
    9. To save settings click the Apply button.

The RS-RTP Server is now configured.
