Events control and processing

The events registered by the system can be controlled and processed. For example, if there is no video image on the camera, the Operator can take the corresponding event into processing and contact the security to check the camera or the administrator to check the connection. The following interface objects are used for event control:

  • Alarm notification window — automatic notification of alarming and information events.
  • Event log — displays all registered events or events of certain types in accordance with pre-configured filters. For each event, you can show the corresponding video or map with the object.
  • Operator protocol — displays not only events, but also a checklist of actions that should be performed during the event processing. You can also assign a type to an event — for example, Alarm.
  • Incident manager — in addition to features similar to the Event log, you can also configure flexible scenarios for processing a single event or groups of events

Automatic system response to events

In addition to event control by the Operator, in Axxon PSIM you can program system responses to various events. Macros, scripts and special programs are used for this purpose. For example, you can configure automatic enabling of sound recording when an alarm event occurs.

Since Axxon PSIM integrates all security systems into a single operating environment, the condition for starting the execution of a particular system response can be an event or a chain of events occurring in any of the subsystems, and any subsystem of the complex can be involved in the system response
