Axxon PSIM™ software is offered as a software installation kit (distribution package) available on the company's official website: https://www.axxonsoft.com/support/downloads/axxon-psim.
The installation kit contains all software components necessary for the installation of Axxon PSIM™ software.
The software is made operable with the psim.sec license key file provided by AxxonSoft manager. The key file defines the configuration of the Axxon PSIM™ software delivery package.
Note.
If there is no key file Axxon PSIM™ software will operate in Axxon PSIM Demo mode within two month from the psim.exe file creation date, from 8 a.m till 12 midnight.
To install and configure Axxon PSIM™ software, administrator rights are required.
The description of the main components of the Axxon PSIM installation package is given in the table below:

| Drivers | The folder containing the drivers for the Axxon PSIM-integrated video capture cards, sensors/relays, USB WatchDog hardware performance monitoring devices |
| ipint.driverpack | The folder containing the drivers package installation kits (x32 and x64) for the Axxon PSIM-integrated IP devices − IP Drivers Pack |
| Key | The folder containing the license key file. If the installation kit was downloaded from the official AxxonSoft website rather than received on a disk, then this folder is empty |
| languages | The folder containing the language packs for installation. By default, it contains only the Setup folder with the English (en) language packs in the corresponding folders. If the folder with the language pack is deleted, the corresponding language will not be available for the installer. Other language packs downloaded from the official AxxonSoft website can be added to the languages folder in order to install the Axxon PSIM in the required language − for details, see Installation of Axxon PSIM as a Server/Remote Administrator's workstation |
| Redist | The folder containing the installation kits of the prerequisites required for the Axxon PSIM operation − for details, see Using the Product.msi and Redist.exe for Axxon PSIM™ software installation |
| Product.msi | The installation file for installing the Axxon PSIM without additional components (drivers, prerequisites, etc.) − for details, see Using the Product.msi and Redist.exe for Axxon PSIM™ software installation |
| Redist.exe | The installation file for installing the additional components required for the Axxon PSIM operation (drivers, prerequisites, etc.) − for details, see Using the Product.msi and Redist.exe for Axxon PSIM™ software installation |
| setup.exe | The executable file to run the full installation of the Axxon PSIM with all the necessary drivers, prerequisites, etc. |
