The Event Counter system object has no separate interface object for data input/output, thus it is used together with other system components. Usually, the data of the Event counter object is used in macros to initiate actions with objects.

Figures below show an example of using the Event counter object in a macro.

In this example, the counter issues a notification (sends a SIGNAL_POINT (Data collected) message) in any of the following cases: camera №1 is blocked, camera №2 is blocked, camera №1 is broken, camera №2 is broken, unauthorized access attempt, the number of access attempts exceeded the limit. If the Access Abuse Control macro is active at the moment of the counter notification, video recording automatically starts on cameras №1 and №2.

Note.

The macros are described in detail in the Creating and using macros section.
