To migrate the Axxon One configuration from Windows OS to Windows OS, do the following:

  1. Back up the configuration in Windows OS (see Backup and restore utility).
  2. Run the Backup and restore utility (see Backup and restore utility) on another Windows OS Client and select the specified Server at startup.

    Attention!

The name of the local Server in Windows OS must match the name of the Server from the configuration backup.

  3. Restore the configuration by selecting a saved backup (see Backup and restore utility).

Attention!

  • When you migrate a configuration, archive as a file is migrated together with the hard disks. You must restore the paths to the archive volumes using the Windows OS administration tools. If you cannot restore the original paths to the logical archive volumes, you must configure the archive volume with a new path and then delete the inactive archive volume from the configuration.
  • You can migrate archive as a partition in the same way as archive as a file.
