Documentation for Intellect 4.10.4. Documentation for other versions of Intellect is available too.
Important!
Selecting current disk for recording is only available in Intellect 4.10.0 through 4.10.2. Starting from Intellect 4.10.3, the disk for recording is displayed in the Recording column but cannot be changed.
The current disk on which the archive is stored is displayed in the Recording column of the Computer settings panel.
The select current disk for recording feature allows switching once to the disk from the list of active disks specified by the user (not to the following in the list) while loop recording in the list.
Example.
Recording of the archive is performed to 3 disks: A, B and C. When the archive is recorded in the standard mode, disks will be changed in the A->B->C->A->B->C.... order.
Let us assume that the recording is performed to disk B. Disk A (not C) is to be the following. Set the Recording checkbox checked for this disk, so disk C will be skipped and when disk B is full, archive will be recorded to disk A, then – to disk C, then – to disk A, etc.
Change the current disk for recording as follows:
- Set the Recording checkbox unchecked next to a disk the recording is currently performed on.
Set the Recording checkbox checked next to a disk the recording is to be performed on.
Note.
A new disk is to be selected to store the archive (see Selecting the disks for video archive storage).- Click the Apply button.
As a result the archive is stored on the selected disk. Further the loop recording continues (see General information on video archiving).
