If there are messages saying that you need to update the Internet Explorer browser, you can change the displayed version without updating the browser itself. As a result, there will be no more messages about the update. To change the displayed version of Internet Explorer, do the following:
Change the displayed version of the Internet Explorer browser in the settings window of the HTML page object.
To do this, change the values of the OpcIe.run and Intellect.exe parameters to the required ones from the table below:Internet Explorer version Decimal value 11 11001 9 9000 8 8888 7 7000 The OpcIe.run and Intellect.exe parameters are located in the following registry key branch:
Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\FeatureControl\FEATURE_BROWSER_EMULATION
Change the displayed version of the Internet Explorer browser in the HTML Interface window.
To do this, change the value of the OpcIe.run parameter to the required one from the table below:
Internet Explorer version Decimal value 11 11001 9 9000 8 8888 7 7000 The OpcIe.run parameter is located in the following registry key branch:
Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\FeatureControl\FEATURE_BROWSER_EMULATION
Attention!
It is necessary to specify the same value corresponding to the required Internet Explorer version in all the parameters described above.
