In the Intellect software package, it is possible to configure the interface of the Video surveillance window: the camera frame color in various states (alarm, armed, disarmed, no frame, no signal), displaying the frames of the Face Detection tool, and also displaying the Video Surveillance Monitor window on top of all windows.
Configuring the interface of the Video surveillance window as follows:
- Go to the Interface tab on the settings panel of the Monitor object (1).
- In the Alarm dropdown list select the Viewing tile frame color if there is an alarm on the camera (2). By default it is red.
- In the Armed dropdown list select the Viewing tile frame color when the camera is armed and there are no alarms (3). By default it is yellow.
- In the Disarmed dropdown list select the Viewing tile frame color when the camera is disarmed (4). By default it is green.
- In the No frame dropdown list select the Viewing tile frame color when there is no frame from the camera in the Viewing tile (5). By default it is black.
- In the No signal dropdown list select the Viewing tile frame color when there is no signal from the camera (6). By default it is grey.
- In the Screen cache dropdown list select the Viewing tile background color that is displayed when the video from the camera does not overlay the Viewing tile, for instance, when the camera proportions are kept (7).
- In the Tracker frame color dropdown list select the color of the frame highlighting the tracking objects detected by smart detection tools on the video image (8). See also Configuring smart video detection tools. In addition, the DrawDetectorColors registry key can be set to enable the frame color calculation depending on the background it is displayed on (see Registry keys reference guide).
- Click the Default button to restore the default settings (9).
- If frames shown by Face detection tool are not to be displayed, set the Hide capture frames checkbox (10). See also Configuring Face detection tool.
- In order to show the Video Surveillance Monitor on top of all windows, set the Over all windows checkbox (11).
- To enable a special dialog for selecting cameras to display in the Video surveillance window, set the Camera switching dialog checkbox (12). See also Selecting camera to display in Surveillance window.
- Click the Apply button to save the changes.
