To configure the Event counter, do the following:
- Select the required Computer object in the Hardware tab of the System settings dialog box.
- Right-click the selected Computer object. In the drop-down menu, select Create Object, then Event counter. Enter the number and name of the counter and click Apply.
Select an object type in the Object Type column, and an ID in the Identifier column (1). Then, select an event in the Event column for the created object. Repeat these steps for all required objects and events.
Note
If no object is selected, then the Event counter will not count any events. If only the object type is specified, then the counter will count all events for objects of this type; if an identifier with no name is specified, then the counter will count all events of the selected identifier; if the object name with no event is specified, then then the counter will count all events of the selected object.
To add a row to the table, select the last row and press the ↓ button on the keyboard. To delete rows from the table, use the Ctrl + Del key combination.
- Select the notification mode and set the notification parameters (2).
- Enable the counter reset option, if necessary. Select the reset mode and set the reset parameters (3).
- Select the time setting mode and enter the date and time, if necessary (4).
- Uncheck the option for individual events counting, if necessary (5).
- Click Apply to save the settings (6).
The Event counter is now configured.
