Documentation for Intellect 4.11.0-4.11.3. Documentation for other versions of Intellect is available too.
The System restart service is designed to control the workability of Intellect software modules and their restart if there is no response during the specified time interval. Software as well as hardware control of workability can be used.
Important!
Only those Intellect modules the processes of which are created under Slave.exe process (run under Intellect.exe process) are displayed in the system restart service.
Note.
Use the special utility and the script to control the RTSP Server module workability – see The openRTSP.exe utility for checking RTSP workability.
The System restart service allows performing the following actions if there is no response from the module:
- Computer restart (hardware operability testing, additional devices are to be enabled). The computer will restart if the slave.exe process is not active.
- Module restart. Only module which is not replying to requests will restart if there is no response from this module.
- Core restart. The Intellect core will restart if there is no reply from the module.
The System restart service is configured on the settings panel of the System restart service object. This object is based on the Computer object in the Hardware tab of the System settings dialog box.
