Documentation for Intellect 4.11.0-4.11.3. Documentation for other versions of Intellect is available too.
The administrative functions include:
- Creation or removal of system objects;
- Editing the settings of the system objects;
- Moving the system objects across the objects tree.
By default, the operator has access to all administrative, control and viewing functions of all system objects. Administration of specific objects and groups of objects can be forbidden for an operator.
The objects are grouped according to the tabs of the System Settings window.
When an operator receives administration rights for an object, he (she) also receives the control and viewing rights for that object. The forbidden tabs are blacked out in the System Settings window.
Figure below shows a tabs panel of the System Settings window where the Architecture, Hardware, Interfaces and Users tabs are allowed for editing by the current operator, while the objects in the Programming tab cannot be edited by the current operator.
If an operator is forbidden to access any of the tabs, he (she) cannot open the System Settings window altogether, and cannot use any of the administrative functions.
Note.
