By default, when working with the Video surveillance monitor, the Operator is not allowed to save and load archive search templates (see Smart search templates). To allow the Operator to use templates, do the following:

  1. Go to the settings panel of the User permissions object.
  2. On the Main tab, expand the Archive parameters group.
  3. Set the Allow VMDA filters use checkbox (1).
  4. Click the Apply button (2).

Now the Save the template and Load the template buttons in the Video surveillance monitor will be available for the Operator with the appropriate rights.

Note

The display of the Save the template and Load the template buttons is also configured by the CanUseVmdaFilters registry key (see Registry keys reference guide).
