The Special keyboard module is used for efficient control of the main functions of interface objects in the INTELLECT™ software. The Special keyboard allows to control the following system’s main functions:

  1. Video surveillance
  2. Audio control
  3. Telemetry
  4. Events protocol
  5. Macros
  6. Sensor/Relay

INTELLECT™ software supports any USB or PS/2 keyboard, for example, programmable Posiflex KB-4000 (POS keyboard).

The following models of the Special keyboard device were supported in earlier versions:

  1. PROMAG KB-840. Out of production.
  2. PROMAG KB-950A. Out of production.

Note.

 The process of connecting and setting up the PROMAG KB-950A model is the same as for PROMAG KB-840.  PROMAG KB-950A setup is described in the documentation for INTELLECT™ version 4.7.4, PROMAG KB-840 – version 4.9.8 (see AxxonSoft documentation repository).
