The settings panel of the RTSP Server object is shown in the figure.

The Basic settings tab.

Tables describe the setting parameters of the RTSP Server system object.

Sets the Computer parent object to which the given RTSP Server object belongs

Names of the Computer objects registered in the system

Depends on the number of Servers in the digital video surveillance system with the distributed architecture

Cameras

Set the checkbox

Specifies the cameras the video signals from which should be transmitted to remote workstations

Set—the video stream can be viewed at a remote workstation

Clear—the video stream cannot be viewed at a remote workstation

Gate

Select the value from the list

Specifies the Videogate through which video is received from the camera

Names of the Videogate objects registered in the system

7PortEnter the value into the field

Sets the port via which a video signal from the camera will be transmitted.

Note. This column is available only if is the Multicast checkbox is set (12).

Specified ports are not addressed directly. Use the RTSP port to get video from all cameras in the Multicast mode (14)

Sets the port which should be used for transmitting the video signal via the http protocol

Multicast

Set the checkbox

Enables the video transmission via different RTSP ports.

The Multicast mode allows reducing the Server load by reducing the amount of the transmitted data

Receiver IP address

Enter the value into the field

Sets the IP address from which the video will be transmitted in the Multicast mode

14RTSP port

Enter the value into the field

Sets the port number via which the video signal will be transmitted in the Multicast mode. When requesting the video data from the camera using the RTSP protocol, it is necessary to specify this port. The system forwards the request to the port of the requested camera
