The main objects of the system that require preconfiguration for the correct operation of Axxon PSIM include the following:
The objects in the Hardware tab:
- Audio card allows you to configure the connected sound cards.
- Camera allows you to configure and control cameras.
- Computer is a unique image of each computer running Axxon PSIM. This is a parent object for all objects that display the properties of the hardware connected to this computer.
- Microphone allows you to configure the audio input device of the sound card.
- PTZ device allows you to configure the connection between a camera and the device that controls its pan/tilt/zoom.
- Relay allows you to configure relays.
- Sensor allows you to configure sensors.
- Telemetry Controller allows you to configure the port that connects the PTZ device.
- Video capture device allows you to configure the connected video capture cards or IP video processing devices.
The objects in the Interfaces tab:
- Audio player allows you to configure the microphones control and playback of audio signals from microphones.
- Display allows you to configure the display of selected interface objects on the computer screen.
- Event viewer allows you to configure how to view the list of events logged in the security system.
- Map allows you to configure and control security devices represented by system objects on the map of the protected facility/territory.
- Monitor allows you to configure how video is displayed in Surveillance windows and set up camera controls.
The objects in the Users tab:
- User permissions allow you to manage access rights to system objects.
The objects in the Programming tab:
- Areas allows you to divide the protected facility/territory into areas of interest.
- Regions allows you to divide the areas of protected facility/territory into regions of interest.
