Zone groups allow you to combine zones (AIO and/or AIM inputs, service inputs), mask and unmask the entire group.

Zone group configuration is performed on the settings panel of the Apollo Zone group object. The object is created on the basis of the Apollo AAN object on the Hardware tab of the System settings dialog window.

To configure the zone group, do the following:

  1. Go to the settings panel of the Apollo Zone group object.
  2. From the Number drop-down list (1), select number of the zone group in the controller .
  3. From the Initial masking level drop-down list (2), select the initial masking level. If the masking level is not zero, then the group is considered to be masked, if zerothe group is unmasked.
  4. From the Maximum masking level drop-down list (3), select the maximum masking level.
  5. Set checkboxes next to the objects that must be included in the group (4).
  6. Click the Apply button.
  7. To save the changes to the controller, write configuration to hardware.

Note

You can manage the masking and check the activity of the zone groups together with the internal variable function (see Configuring internal variable functions (actions)).
