The Setup and User Guide for the HID Integration Module is a reference guide for administrators and operators of the HID module. This module is part of access control systems/fire and security alarm systems implemented based on the ACFA PSIM software package.
This Guide contains:
- general information on the HID integration module;
- guidance on how to configure the HID integration module;
- guidance on how to work with the HID integration module.
General Information on the HID Integration Module
The HID integration module is part of FSA/ACS systems based on ACFA PSIM. The module is used for:
- Configuring HID hardware (manufactured by HID Global);
- Enabling interaction between HID hardware and ACFA PSIM (monitoring and management).
Note:
Detailed information on the HID system can be found in the vendor documentation.
The following HID controllers and interface modules are integrated into ACFA PSIM:
- V1000 network controllers;
- V2000 network door controllers;
- E400 network single-door controllers;
- V100 interface modules;
- V200 interface modules;
- V300 interface modules;
Before configuring the HID integration module:
- Install the required hardware at the secure facility.
- Connect the HID hardware to the Server.
