To configure queue detection tool, do as follows:
- Select the Queue detection object.
Configure parameters.
Parameter Description Enable Enable/disable detection tool. Current queue size report interval Set an event transmission interval in seconds for sending data to the AxxonData report subsystem if the queue length exceeds the set limit. Zero value means no transmission of events.
Decoder mode Select a processing resource for decoding video streams. When you select a GPU, a stand-alone graphics card takes priority (when decoding with NVidia NVDEC chips). If there's no appropriate GPU, the decoding will use the Intel Quick Sync Video technology. Otherwise, CPU resources will be used for decoding.
Frame processing period (msec) Specify the time period in milliseconds between frames analyzed by the people counter within the area. The value should be within the range of 500 – 3000. The smaller the value of this parameter, the greater the CPU load.
Frame size change By default, the frame is compressed to 1920 pixels on the longer side. To avoid detection errors on streams with a higher resolution, it is recommended that compression be reduced. Human size Set the approximate size of a human. The value should be within the range of 0,25 – 10. Queue size Specify the number of people to trigger the alarm when exceeded. The value should be within the range of 2 – 20.
Sensitivity Specify the detection tool sensitivity in standard units from 0 to 1. The higher the sensitivity, the smaller the disturbances analyzed by the queue detection algorithm. Alternatively, the lower the sensitivity, the greater changes in scene are processed by the queue detection tool. - In the Preview window, you can set the detection zones:
- Click against the detection tool.
- Select Add device.
- Select VisualElement.
- Select the VisualElement object.
- To select the area, move the intersection points .
- Click against the detection tool.
- Click to save changes.
The detection tool is now configured.
