New features and improvements
- The Carmen algorithm performance (when operating on multiple cores of CPU) has been improved.
- The license plate recognition engine for the Carmen module has been updated to support license plates from:
- Egypt;
- China;
- Iran;
- Iraq;
- Pakistan;
- Singapore;
- The Philippines.
- License plate recognition of the following countries/regions has been improved for the Carmen algorithm:
- Guatemala;
- Morocco;
- Pakistan;
- The USA;
- South America;
- Arabic characters;
- Latin characters;
- Mongolian characters;
- Thai characters.
- 4 more characters of containers' license plates can now be recognized.
- Quality of containers' LPR has been enhanced.
- The Traffic violations detection module has been dramatically modified:
- Crossroad is now divided into zones;
- Stop over the stop line detection is now implemented;
- Extra photos from overview camera can be saved.
- Interaction with external databases has been improved. It is now possible to edit or remove license plates from these databases.
- The Traffic Detector module has been updated:
- Marking setup has been improved;
- Vehicle classification rule has been modified.
Fixes
- Error that caused failure to use speed-trap when connecting it to the two-digit COM port has been fixed.
- Error related to wrong detection of traffic direction has been fixed.
- Error that caused LPR Servers to disconnect under certain conditions has been fixed.
- Errors that caused the Carmen algorithm instability have been fixed.
- Localization errors have been fixed.
Note
After installing version 5.1 of Auto Intellect the Traffic violations detection module is to be recreated and configured.
