Note

It is recommended to use the CARMEN-parking module for LP recognition of vehicles speed of which is not more than 25 km/h.

Configure CARMEN-parking program module as follows:

  1. Go to the Hardware tab in the System settings dialog window (1).
  2. In the objects tree in the Hardware tab select the PARKING Module object corresponding to the configured CARMEN-parking program module (2). The settings panel of the selected object will open on the right of the window.
  3. In the Recording frame rate field enter the value of recording frame rate per second (3).

  4. Enter the value in the Number of frames for recognition field (4).

    Attention!

    Specified number of frames for recognition is sent to the LPR channel every 3 seconds. Recognized license plate will be displayed if the same license plate is recognized at least in two frames.

  5. Enter the value in the Number of lanes field (5).
  6. Click Apply to save the changes (6).

Configuration of the CARMEN-parking module is completed.

Attention!

Recognition of the same license plate is performed once per 10 seconds.

Attention!

The CARMEN-parking module can operate in 64-bits mode - for this set the Run x64 modules checkbox checked in Intellect. However, simultaneous operation of 32-bits and 64-bits SDK on one computer is not possible (find details in Configuring of using 64-bits modules).
