LP processing using regular expressions enables to ignore the recognized numbers if they coincide with the created list by some criterion. For example, the LP numbers of a specific region can be ignored.
LP processing is configured in the following way:
- Go to the LPR channel object settings panel, corresponding to the activated module (see Activating the program module, used for identifying the plates section).
- Open the Settings of LP processing tab (3).
Add the LPs that should be ignored:
Right-click on the Skipped LPs field (4), and the window with the Add button will appear (1).
Click the Add button, and in the appeared window enter the LP using the regular expressions (3).
Note
Regular expression ".555.+" means that there can be only one character before "555" and many characters after it.
Click OK (4).
To delete all LPs in the Skipped LPs field, click Delete all (2).
To edit or delete one of the LPs, right-click on it and select the necessary action – Edit (5) or Delete (6).
- To check if the regular expression is correct, enter the test LP in the Enter LP field (1) and click Check (2). The result will appear below in the field (3).
- Click Apply (4).
The LP processing is now set up.
