Name of a detection tool

Detection tool description

Quality degradation

A detection tool which is triggered when the video image received from a video camera loses quality.

For example, the detection tool may trigger upon excessive light, loss of focus, lens blocking, or sudden drop in scene illumination.

Scene change

A detection tool triggered by a change in the video image background indicating a change in the video camera's position in space

Image Noise Detection

A tool that triggers in the presence of video noise.

For instance, triggering may occur upon low bit rate, or ripples on video.

Blurred Image Detection

A tool that detects blurred contours.

For example, the detection tool may trigger when the image becomes blurry because of dirty lens.

Compression Artifacts DetectionDetects compression artifacts

Attention!

Starting with DetectorPack 3.7.0, the compression artifacts detection, quality degradation, image noise detection, scene change, and blurred image detection are marked as obsolete. If they were in the configuration, then after you update to DetectorPack 3.7.0 and later, they will remain in the configuration, but once you delete them it will not be possible to re-create them.

Starting with DetectorPack 3.7.0, a camera tampering detection is added, which now performs all the functions of legacy detection tools. DetectorPack 3.7.0 is compatible with Axxon Next 4.5.8 and later.
