Right-click the map and in the map context menu, select the Add child map item.
Note
You can add a floor to an existing map (see Creating a new map).
- Enter the name of the floor (1).
Select the item that will be used as a floor map: an image or geodata from the OpenStreetMap provider (2).
Note
Axxon Next uses the geodata provided by the OpenStreetMap through the Mapbox service. The connection to the service is described on the Creating a new map page.
Clicks the
button and select the image (3), which will be used as a graphic plan of the protected area (if the Raster image type is selected). The supported formats: png, jpg, jpeg, jpe, gif and bmp. If no image is selected, a floor with a white background will be created.Note
The maximum image size is 4 million pixels (the number of pixels in the resolution 2000x2000). The floor will not be created if the selected image is larger than the allowed size.
- If a geo map is used, in the Address field, enter either the address, or the zip code, or the geographical coordinates of the required area on the OpenStreetMap map (for details on browsing the OpenStreetMap, see the provider's website) and click the button. You can scale the floor using the scale slider or the mouse wheel, you can move around the floor in a standard way.
- Select the users for whom the floor will be available (4): for everyone, only for the current user (Nobody option), for users of the selected roles (5).
- Click the Apply button.
- If necessary, repeat steps 1-7, adding a new floor to the last created floor.
The floor is created.
