ONVIF embedded analytics are embedded detection tools supported on the side of an IP device via the ONVIF protocol. The list of IP devices supported via the ONVIF protocol is provided in the documentation.

Attention!

  • In Axxon Next, embedded detection tools of an IP device always have the "Embedded" prefix.
  • The number of detection tools that are supported via the ONVIF protocol depends on an IP device.

To configure an embedded detection tool, do the following:

  1. Configure a detection tool in the web interface of an IP device.

    Attention!

    • The settings of embedded detection tools are described in the official documentation of an IP device.
    • In order to receive events from an embedded detection tool to Axxon Next, you must configure the schedule in the web interface of an IP device and select days and time of operation of an embedded detection tool.

  2. Add an IP device to Axxon Next (see Adding and removing IP devices).
  3. Configure recording to an archive (see Configuring recording to an archive).
  4. Create the required embedded detection tool (see Creating detection tools).
  5. Configure macros to initiate (see Initiating an alarm in the system) and stop alarms (see Stopping alarm).

Configuration of an embedded detection tool is complete. If necessary, you can change some settings of an embedded detection tool in the Axxon Next interface.

Attention!

Settings of an embedded detection tool that are displayed in Axxon Next depend on an IP device.

Events from an embedded detection tool are displayed in the events feed (see Checking the Triggering of a Detection Tool).

Rules is a special type of embedded detection tool based on advanced analytics and Profile M that is used for flexible configuration of each embedded detection tool (see Adding the ONVIF Profile M embedded detection tools). You can use it to configure, for example, multiple Embedded motion detection tools with different detection areas and sensitivity on the same IP device.

Attention!

  • To display Rules embedded detection tools and their properties in Axxon Next, the IP device must support the analytics service and its basic queries.
  • In DriversPack 3.8 and earlier versions, you can configure only certain properties of Rules embedded detection tools.
