Signal detector is a detector that generates an event when the signal-to-noise ratio increases above a set level.
Loss of quality detector is a detector that generates an event when the quality of the video image received from the camera degrades.
Camera position change detector is a detector that generates an event when the background of a video image changes, indicating a change in the position of the camera in space.
Exit from area detector is a detector that generates an event when an object disappears from a specified area in the camera FOV.
Abandoned object is a detector that generates an event when an object remains motionless in a detection area for a prolonged period.
Audio loss detector is a detector that generates an event when there is no signal from an audio device.
Line crossing detector is a detector that generates an event when an object track crosses a virtual line in the camera FOV.
Entrance in area detector is a detector that generates an event when an object appears in a specified area in the camera FOV.
Stop in area detector is a detector that generates an event when an object stops in a specified area in the camera FOV.
Noise detector is a detector that generates an event when the signal-to-noise ratio decreases below a set level.
Axxon Domain is a selected group of computers, on which the server configuration of Axxon One is installed. Linking the servers in a group makes it possible to set up interaction between them, thus organizing a distributed system.
Detection area is an area of a video image processed by a detector.
Interface cable is a cable used to connect two or more devices together for data transfer.
Interface object is an interface element used for interaction between the user and software (data input/output).
Client is a designation for a computer on which Axxon One is installed (or will be installed) as a client. Designation for the graphical shell of Axxon One.
Slideshow is an automatic switching of user layouts or Surveillance windows on a single layout when you work with standard layouts.
Licensing is regulating and setting the terms for usage of AxxonSoft software modules.
Detection mask—1. an area of a video image that isn't processed by a detector; 2. a tool that allows the user to outline an area of the video image that must not be processed by a detector.
Microphone—1. a source of audio signals; 2. a system object used to manage the parameters of audio signal reception.
Video surveillance monitor is an interface object used to manage the user interfaces of Axxon One, for example, layouts, Surveillance windows, various panels and context menus, and so on.
Surveillance window is an interface object displaying the video stream coming from a certain camera and enabling control of that camera.
Dial panel is a panel (part of the PTZ control panel) used to dial a preset number.
Archive navigation panel is all interface objects used to work with an archive, such as timeline, list of alarm events, and so on.
Control panel is a panel made up of tabs available to the user, used to navigate from one group of interface objects to another.
Playback control panel is a panel containing buttons to control playback of video recordings: Play, Pause, Go to next video recording, and so on.
PTZ control panel is all interface objects used to control a certain PTZ device.
Layout control panel is a panel containing tools to create, edit, and manage layouts.
PTZ device is a system object displaying the properties of an installed PTZ camera device.
Note
Also used to designate a physical device

Analytics subsystem encompasses all tools that provide for automatic analysis of incoming video and audio data.
Search in archive subsystem is a set of tools for searching for video recordings in the archive by using video image metadata.
Output subsystem encompasses all tools that provide for an event from an execution device connected to the embedded Output port of a camera or IP server when a detector generates an event (including the one that processes the embedded Input of a camera or IP server).
Notification subsystem encompasses all tools that provide for notification of the user about events that have occurred in the system.
Event registration subsystem is all tools that provide for the collection of data about system events, processing, and its storage on media.
Pre-alarm recording is a period of pre-event recording that is added to the beginning of an alarm event recording.
