Switching to layout editing mode

The Web Board allows you to view a specific web page on the layout.

Note

Starting with Axxon One 2.0, web pages in the Axxon One interface are displayed via Chromium or Gecko browser. When upgrading from previous versions that support the Internet Explorer engine, the engine will be automatically replaced with Chromium, which you can manually replace with Gecko.

To configure the Web Board:

  1. Add an information board to the layout (see Adding information boards to cells).

  2. In the upper-right corner, click the button.

  3. Enter the name of the Web Board or select it from the list (1).
  4. To allow the operators to hide the information board, set the Allow hiding panel check box (2).

  5. Select the web page output: Chromium or Gecko (3).

  6. Enter the address in the URL field (4).

    Note

    The URL field supports addresses in the following formats:

    • http://www.site.com
    • http://site.com
    • https://www.site.com
    • https://site.com
    • www.site.com
    • site.com
    • [IP-address]
    • [IP-address]:[Port]
    • http://[IP-address]
    • http://[IP-address]:[Port]
  7. To save the changes, click the Apply button. To discard the changes, click the Cancel button.

Configuration of the Web Board is complete. The specified page will be displayed on the Web Board.
