For an archive volume based on the Amazon solution, you must:

  1. Specify the general parameters for an archive volume (see Creating a cloud archive).
  2. Configure an archive volume.

To reduce delays when writing and reading the archive, it is necessary to specify the nearest region to the Axxon One server in the Amazon web interface.     Volume bucket nameName of the archive partition in the Amazon S3 (bucket) accountSpecify the name of the archive partition in the Amazon S3 (bucket) account. Different volumes can be located in different regions. On the Amazon S3 server, the volume name must be unique and must be previously created by the user using the following rules to work in Axxon One (see https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonS3/latest/userguide/bucketnamingrules.html)
    Access key idValue of the access key id

    Specify the access key id. You must sign in to create access keys—https://console.aws.amazon.com/iam/home#/security_credentials$access_key

    Password of access key idPassword of access key id

    Specify the password of the access key

    Note

    The password is available after you create an access key.

    Volume pathFolder of the Axxon One volumeSpecify the path to the folder of the Axxon One volume inside the partition (bucket)

    AES keyEncryption keyIf you want to encrypt an archive volume, specify the encryption key (see Encrypting a volume of an object archive)
    Archive size1.00Specify the size of an archive volume in gigabytes. The default value is 1 GB
  3. To test the connection of the archive volume, click the Test connection button.

  4. Click the Apply  button.

Configuration of an archive volume based on the Amazon solution is complete.
