To configure the Movement in prohibited direction VI detector, do the following:
- Go to the Detection Tools tab.
Below the required camera, click Create… → Category: Trackers → Movement in prohibited direction VI.
By default, the detection tool is enabled and set to generate events when an object crosses the virtual line in any direction.
If necessary, you can change the detection tool parameters. The list of parameters is given in the table:

To save the parameters of the detection tool, click the Apply button. To cancel the changes, click the Cancel button.

Configuring detection area and virtual line
By default, the detector is configured to generate events when an object crosses a virtual line in any direction in a given area. To configure the virtual line and detection area, in the preview window do the following:
- Set the area in which objects will be detected by moving the nodes . By default, the entire frame is the detection area.
- Set the virtual line:
- Specify the end points of the line

Attention!
- You must select at least one direction for detection.
- An unmonitored direction of object movement is indicated by a dimmed arrow.
Note
- The end points are connected by a two-color dashed line. The directions of object movement through the line are indicated by dotted arrows.
- For convenience of configuration, you can "freeze" the frame. Click the button. To cancel the action, click this button again.
- To hide the virtual line and detection area, click the button. To cancel the action, click this button again.

The detection area and virtual line configuration is complete.
