If a camera has an embedded storage, the system automatically creates the corresponding object.

To configure an embedded storage, do the following:

  1. Select the Embedded storage object in the child objects of the camera.
  2. In the Enable parameter, select the Yes value to enable an embedded storage.
  3. If necessary, in the Name parameter, enter the name of the object.
  4. If necessary, in the Cache depth parameter, enter the depth of record caching in days. The setting enables background caching of information about recording intervals to RAM. The value must be in the range [0, 365].
  5. In the Cache update period parameter, enter the cache update period in seconds. The value must be in the range [0, 86400].
  6. Click the Apply button.

Configuration of an embedded storage is complete. If an embedded storage is enabled in the system, the data from it are available for viewing (see Selecting an archive) and replication to the system archive (see Configuring data replication).
