To initiate an alarm event manually, do the following:

  1. In the lower-left corner of the Surveillance window, click the button.

  2. As a result, an alarm event is initiated in the system. The alarm event is displayed on the Alert panel (see Alert panel). To assess an alarm event, click the button again.

    Note

    • When in the Alarm management mode, the user who initiated the alarm event is displayed at the bottom of the Surveillance window.
    • An alarm event initiated manually has a medium priority.

Manual initiation of an alarm event is now complete.
