You can scale Surveillance windows in one of the three ways:
- Using the buttons in the upper right part of the active Surveillance window;
- Using the buttons on the top panel;
- Using the mouse.
When you click a Surveillance window, you can see the scale control buttons on the right side.
—increases the size of the Surveillance window by one step;
—resets the Surveillance window to its initial size.
When you increase the size of the Surveillance window, the scale of the entire layout is scaled up, with some cells placed outside the screen.
Surveillance windows are scaled as follows:
- If a Surveillance window occupies 100% of any side of a layout (maximum Surveillance window size), you cannot scale it.
- If a Surveillance window occupies 50% or more (but not 100%) of any side of a layout, it can be scaled to a maximum size.
- If a Surveillance window occupies less than 50% on both sides of a layout, two scale steps are available: the first step scales up the Surveillance window to 50% on the corresponding side of the layout and the second step scales up the Surveillance window to the maximum size. Relevant for layouts containing nine cells or more.
If a Surveillance window is linked to another window or an information board, at the first scale step (up to 50%), the Surveillance window and the other window/information board are displayed together and occupy all of the screen on one side. In this case, the first step takes into account the total size of the linked cells, that is, the linked cells must be less than 50% on both sides of the layout.
When you select a Surveillance window, you can control its scale with the buttons on the top panel:
- —resets the Surveillance window to its initial size;
- —resizes the Surveillance window up to 50% on one side of the layout;
- —scales up the Surveillance window to its maximum size.
You can scale the Surveillance window using a mouse:
- If a Surveillance window is expanded to the full screen, double-click the left mouse button in the window area to scale it down to a minimum size.
- Otherwise, double-click the left mouse button to expand the window to the full screen.
Note
When a Surveillance window is scaled up to its maximum size, the timeline isn't hidden when you click in the window area.
