Search by titles allows you to find the necessary words in the titles database received from the POS devices.

To search by titles, do the following:

  1. Set a search interval (see Setting a search interval).
  2. In the Search results output drop-down list, select one of the search methods:
    • Whole receipts containing specified text—video fragments containing receipts with the searched text are displayed as search results. The number of video fragments is equal to the number of receipts that include the searched text.
    • Single titles containing specified text—video fragments containing the searched text are displayed as search results. The number of video fragments is equal to the number of search words in the receipts.

      Note

For example, the word "Milk" appears on two receipts, and is mentioned twice in each of them. The search results are as follows:

      • Whole receipts containing specified text—two video fragments are displayed, since the word is contained in two receipts;
      • Single titles containing specified text—four video fragments are displayed, since in total the word appears four times in receipts.
  3. Enter the text that you want to find in the titles. You can search the whole word or part of it.

    Attention!

    • You must enter at least three characters to make a search.
    • The search is performed by the entire text that you entered, not by individual words.
    • You cannot search by empty string.
  4. Click the Search button.

    Note

After starting the search, you can stop it at any time. To do this, click the Stop button, which replaces the Search button.

The search process based on the specified criteria starts. The search results panel displays frames with titles containing the search text.

Attention!

The time of the found events corresponds to the start time of the receipt, not the time of occurrence of the searched text.
