System log is a log that contains information about events that occurred in the system.

The following user actions are logged in the system log:

  • unsuccessful login attempt;
  • adding, editing, and deleting settings of hardware, archive, or detectors;
  • creating, editing, and deleting macros;
  • adding, editing, and deleting user permissions;
  • initiating a camera alarm;
  • arming and disarming a camera;
  • controlling a PTZ camera;
  • creating and editing comments;
  • exporting frames and video recordings.

System log also includes user actions in the Web-Client:

  • logging in and out of the Web-Client;
  • viewing the archive;
  • creating/deleting/editing a layout.

All events from users include their IP address.

To access the system log, select Settings → System log.

As a result, a window opens, in which you can search, view, and export events of the system log (see Filter, searching for events and viewing search results).
