The video image from a camera is displayed on the computer monitor through the Client’s interface objects—Video surveillance monitor and Surveillance window.

You can work with the Surveillance window in the following modes:

  1. Live mode allows system operators to view and analyze video streams from surveillance cameras in real time. This allows you to quickly react to events and take the necessary actions (see Switching to Live mode).
  2. Alarm management mode is used to analyze and evaluate occurring events. The mode allows you to process and classify alarm events, determine their significance and take alarm events into processing (see Switching to the Alarm management mode).

    Note

Alarm management mode is available if an alarm has been initiated in the system.

  3. Archive mode is used to store and manage videos received from surveillance cameras or other video data sources (see Switching to the Archive mode).
  4. Archive Search mode is used for the in-depth analysis of the videos stored in the archive (see Switching to the Archive Search mode).
