We do not recommend you to operate a large single volume video footage archive. It's more practical to divide the archive to multiple volumes located on different hardware devices. We recommend you to create an archive with volumes no larger than 30 TB each. |
The archive can be stored:
- both on local disks and on network disks (see General information of SolidStore file system);
- in object storages, which are created via the gRPC API (see Create archive using gRPC API methods for version 4.6.0.717 Beta and earlier versions).
Features of archives:
