If detection tools use GPU decoded for video decoding (see Configuring detection tools), make sure the following hardware requirements are met:

  1. For NVIDIA 's graphics cards:

    1. CUDA 11.1 − 11.4.
    2. Compute Capability 3.5 and above− 8.6.

      Note
      titleAttention!

CUDA is compatible with generations of computers with the following architectures: Kepler (partially), Maxwell, Pascal, Volta, Turing, Ampere (partially) (see CUDA).

When using NVIDIA graphics cards, it is recommended to install the latest driver from the official website.

    3. Support for the required codec in NVDEC (see https://developer.nvidia.com/video-encode-and-decode-gpu-support-matrix-new here).

      Note
      titleAttention!

Video can be decoded on 2 Nvidia GPU two NVIDIA GPUs at a time.

  2. For the integrated Intel embedded GPUs:

    1. 6th generation CPU or higher.

    2. Support for the required codec in Quick Sync Video.
