Hardware requirements for GPU based video decoding

If detection tools use GPU decoded video (see Configuring detection tools), make sure the following hardware requirements are met:

1. NVIDIA's graphics cards:

   1. Compute Capability 3.5 and above.

      Note

      You can check the GPU's Compute Capability version on the manufacturer's website.

   2. Support for CUDA 10.2 or higher.

   3. Support for the required codec in NVDEC (see https://developer.nvidia.com/video-encode-and-decode-gpu-support-matrix-new).

      Attention!

      Video can be decoded on 2 Nvidia GPU at a time.

2. For Intel embedded GPUs:

   1. 6th generation CPU or higher. 

   2. Support for the required codec in Quick Sync Video.
