By default, the camera short name ID is displayed in the viewing tilesurveillance window (see The Video Camera Object).

To disable displaying the short nameID display, do as followsthe following:

  1. Go to Settings → Options  Options (1)→ User Interface (1–2). 

  2. Uncheck Clear the Show camera short name checkbox (3).
  3. Click Apply to save the changesClick the Apply button.
  4. Reopen the Layout layout (see see Layouts Management).

The camera ID display is disabled.
